Blaqbonez, Ludacris join forces for ‘Cinderella

Blaqbonez, the Nigerian rapper, has released a new single titled ‘Cinderella Girl’.

The ‘Bling’ crooner teamed up with Ludacris, the American rap star, for the new song.

While announcing the song’s release via Instagram on Friday, Blaqbonez said Ludacris and his team flew him to Ghana for the project.

He also expressed gratitude for the opportunity, adding that he has always been a fan of Ludacris.

“Crazy story, @Ludacris and his team flew me out to Ghana because he wanted to work with me, and that day we made Cinderella Girl,” he wrote.

“It’s huge for me cos I’ve always been a fan, plus he gave me a ridiculous verse!! Cinderella Girl out now🙏🏽.”

In ‘Cinderella Girl’, the rappers challenge the conventional ideas of love, romance, and the pursuit of a perfect soulmate.

“F*ck Cinderella, f*ck beauty and the beast, f*ck all they made me believe, life ain’t no fairytale, life ain’t no Adam and Eve, there ain’t no soulmates, there ain’t no one person out there that’s for you, that’s stupid as f*ck mate,” the lyrics read.

The song was produced by Ramoni.

Blaqbonez, whose real name is Emeka Akumefule, has continued his impressive run in the music industry with several hit projects.
