According to chart data, Stray Kids managed to claim the top spot. The group’s third full-length album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” deserves the placement after achieving numerous feats in the music charts, especially its physical album sales.
2. TXT (TOMORROW X TOGETHER)

TXT claimed the No. 2 spot with their fifth mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION.” Apart from its strong physical sales, the album is also the earliest and longest release of 2023 that’s included in the list.

TWICE is well known for their regularity in physical album sales, and this is evident with them having entered the top 3 with their 12th mini album “READY TO BE.” They are also the highest K-pop female group to join the list.

SEVENTEEN made an impressive year with their 10th mini album “FML.” It also became one of 2023’s best-selling releases, which emphasized SEVENTEEN’s loyal fanbase and skyrocketing popularity around the globe.

ATEEZ latched on to the fifth place, rounding up the top five. For the first half of 2023, the group released their newest album “THE WORLD EP. 2: OUTLAW.”

While BTS hasn’t dropped a group album for 2023’s first half, it’s impressive how they managed to conquer the list’s sixth place with their previous releases. This alone says how much of a powerhouse they are in the K-pop industry, where competition is inevitable.
